Inclusive Education Awards 2026

We are excited to celebrate the 2026 Inclusive Education Awards, recognizing members of school communities who are champions for inclusion.

This year’s award recipients are: Samantha White – Her classroom is a model of inclusion, where every student is supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Samantha goes above and beyond each day to make sure students with disabilities are fully included in learning, friendship, and school life. Thank you, Samantha, for showing what inclusive education can look like in action and for inspiring students, families, and colleagues across our community.

Makaio Edwards is our Inclusive School Community Leader because he consistently shows empathy, inclusion, and a strong commitment to community service. He helps classmates feel welcome, stands up for others, and looks for ways to make his school a kinder, more inclusive place for everyone. His leadership has a real impact on both his school and the wider community.

Each of our 2026 award recipients has helped make their school a more welcoming place for students with disabilities and their families. We look forward to sharing more about their stories and impact in the months ahead.
