Plain Language Translation

Plain language is useful for everyone no matter what abilities they have. It is important that people can find the information they need to get help, to understand rules, to stay safe, and to learn new skills. At Inclusion Nova Scotia, we are trying to make sure that when we write, we are using plain language so everyone can understand.

Inclusion Nova Scotia offers free Plain Language translation to RWA employer partners, community organizations, and government.

Our Plain Language translator takes written information that organizations and companies use a lot (like application forms, information about government programs, job contracts, and many other things) and re-writes it in Plain Language so that people with intellectual disabilities can understand them better.
