New to our board in 2023, Debbie and her husband recently  moved to Pictou County from southern Ontario to be closer to both their children and enjoy retirement life as East Coasters.  Debbie spent her whole career ( 30 plus years)  in various roles within developmental services in Ontario. 

 

Her last role was as Executive Director for a progressive, person directed agency.  She also worked as a Canadian Consultant for the Council on Quality  and Leadership  (CQL) completing organizational training and accreditation.  She is passionate about the rights of people with disabilities ( and their families )  to have  truly inclusive lives as valued members of their community.
