Jeff's first job, after leaving Dalhousie in 1971, was as a researcher with Inclusion NS (then called CAMR-NS). After receiving my MSW degree I worked as a Social Worker for close to 25 years specializing in inclusive Community Development. This would include being a co-founder of L'Arche Homefires in Wolfville, NS. 

 

In 1995, looking for a change, I was instrumental in co-founding Just Us! Coffee Roasters in Grand Pre, NS as a worker co-op. This provided me with an opportunity to travel the world, create good jobs in my community and work in development projects in coffee producing countries.. 

 

Now I am enjoying retirement as a father of 2 daughters, a son (with an intellectual disability) and a grandfather of 6. I love spending time in the woods and growing trees around my home.
