Peter Himmelman is a dedicated educator based in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, with nearly 30 years of experience supporting students across junior and senior high schools. Throughout his career, Peter has been a passionate advocate for inclusive education, working to create equitable and nurturing environments where learners of all abilities can thrive.

A steadfast champion for students with intellectual disabilities, Peter has led the implementation of co-teaching models, fostered collaborative in-class supports, and guided transition planning to life beyond school. His commitment extends beyond the classroom—rooted in the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to feel valued and connected within their community.
