Peter Himmelman is a dedicated educator based in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, with nearly 30 years of experience supporting students across junior and senior high schools. Throughout his career, Peter has been a passionate advocate for inclusive education, working to create equitable and nurturing environments where learners of all abilities can thrive.

A steadfast champion for students with intellectual disabilities, Peter has led the implementation of co-teaching models, fostered collaborative in-class supports, and guided transition planning to life beyond school.
