Elliot MacNeil was born and raised in Halifax. He has been employed in the bakery department at Sobeys for 11+ years and is an active member of Halifax Special Olympics, where he enjoys golf, bowling, and curling.

Elliot is actively involved in the Halifax NS Down Syndrome Society community and participates in several programs, including Team Possibles and Friday Night Social. He is also a member of the HNSDSS Advocates Committee.

In his free time, Elliot enjoys going to movies, listening to music, dancing, playing video games, and spending time with his friends. He enjoys learning to cook through the Supper Club program offered by The Club Inclusion and is an enthusiastic fan of professional wrestling.
