
Leana Todd

Leana Todd is a Registered Massage Therapist based in Truro, NS, where she lives with her two children. She is actively involved in local community theatre projects and brings a strong appreciation for the arts and inclusive community engagement.
​
Leana was raised in a household shaped by both professional and personal experiences in disability and mental health. Her father lived with physical and cognitive disabilities, while her mother worked for the Canadian Mental Health Association, instilling early values of compassion, advocacy, and resilience. Today, Leana draws on those formative experiences in raising her own teenagers, one of whom is diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability and is on the Autism Spectrum.

Her family embraces inclusion, individuality, and community—values that guide her personal and professional journey. Leana is deeply committed to contributing her lived experience to the mission of Inclusion Nova Scotia, bringing a nuanced and empathetic perspective to its vital work in advancing equity and belonging.
