Josephine MacEachern is a passionate advocate for people with intellectual disabilities and a long-time community builder in rural Cape Breton. With over 20 years of experience at L’Arche Cape Breton, she has dedicated her career to fostering inclusion, dignity, and meaningful connection.

 

Josephine is the founder of Ride the Wave, a summer recreation program for youth with disabilities, and a founding member of 100 Women Who Care Rural Cape Breton. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating supportive and inclusive communities across the region.
